Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Classico Superiore
Elegant dry red wine obtained with the traditional Ripasso technique, that is letting the young wine resulting from grapes pressed immediately after the harvest undergo a second fermentation on the Amarone skins.
This operation increases the alcohol content of the future wine, allowing to perceive all its organoleptic characteristics even when opening the bottle eight years after the harvest.
It is made from the typical Valpolicella grapes Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, cultivated in our vineyards located at 350 meters above sea level, on the hills of Marano. The vines are trained according to the traditional Veronese pergola and are between 10 and 30 years old.
